These Terms govern your use of heyzoobie (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The heyzoobie service is a web-based property-management platform for independent UK landlords and the tenants, applicants, and contractors they work with. Features include property and tenancy records, rent accounting, compliance tracking, bank-transaction import, and — where you choose to enable it — submission of Making Tax Digital (MTD) Self Assessment updates to HMRC on your behalf.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the data and content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it solely as needed to provide the Service to you. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service integrates with third parties including HMRC (for MTD), GoCardless Bank Account Data (for bank-transaction import), and an email delivery provider. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or decisions made by third parties.
Some features may be offered free of charge, and others may be paid. Where a feature has a fee, the price and billing terms will be shown before you enable it. We may change pricing from time to time; we will give reasonable notice before any change takes effect for an existing plan.
We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of outputs. Nothing on the Service constitutes tax, legal, or financial advice.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of or corruption of data. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or £100 if you have paid no fees.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the change is material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
